DIFC unveils culinary carnival ‘Gastronauts’ a fun mix of food, play and learning
The four-weekend long event will host hands-on-workshops and engaging activities for kids and families at the community-focused lifestyle destination Gate Avenue

Dubai, UAE; 23 May 2025: Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a key cultural and lifestyle hub in Dubai, is hosting ‘Gastronauts’, a family-focused culinary carnival at Gate Avenue from 24 May to 15 June. Taking place on Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm - 7pm, the event will feature hands-on workshops, tasty treats and engaging activities for kids and families.
With a minimum spend of AED 75 across Gate Avenue, visitors can enjoy a curated programme of creative, educational and wellness-inspired activities, organised in partnership with Bliss Flowers, Acai Spot, Jones the Grocer and Advocado.
The venue has a range of activities to suit everybody. These include Arts and Crafts, as well as Grow and Learn sessions where participants can create their own bouquets and learn flower styling and care. At the Buy and Craft corner, they can learn to make unique art pieces using recycled food ingredients and enjoy healthy bites.
