Company Structures.

Establishing a non-financial company in DIFC.

DIFC provides flexible and easy-to-use company structures, which are low cost and quick to set up.

There are two main types of structures available:

1) Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) are designed to ring-fence and isolate assets and liabilities from financial and legal risk.

SPVs are classified as holding companies and are available to qualifying applicants for a range of qualified purposes.

2) Active Enterprise structure is a commercial package that allows you to manage your business more effectively. These are available as holding companies, managing offices and proprietary investments.

The added benefit of an Active Enterprise structure is that it allows you to have employees within it, providing you have an office within DIFC.
